Nike NFL Nike Elite 51 Pro Bowl Uniform
The 2014 NFL Pro Bowl will have a new look with Nike showcasing new uniforms for the revamped all-star game next January.
The athletic apparel giant says its NFL Nike Elite 51 Pro Bowl uniforms were designed with a combination of lightweight, breathable fabrics and feature vibrant colour accents of orange and what the company calls "volt" which looks like a mixture of lime green and bright yellow. The baselayer, padding, jersey and pant work in concert while lightweight padding is also integrated directly into the crucial "hit zones" in the baselayer. Integrated Flywire technology in the neckline reduces weight and provide lockdown fit over pads while an all-over four-way stretch fabrication provides a streamlined shrink-wrap fit.
"The 2014 NFL Nike Elite 51 Pro Bowl Uniforms push the limits of uniform innovation, energy, and speed," the Oregon-based company said in a statement.
The uniforms will debut along with a new format for the Pro Bowl. Rather than pitting the AFC against the NFC, the 2014 game will bring fantasy football to life with players, coaches and fans voting for who should be on the respective teams. They will then square off in a "best in the NFL" match-up on January 26th in Honolulu, Hawaii.
