Saskatchewan Roughriders head coach Corey Chamblin figures Chris Getzlaf is about 75 per cent healthy, but it's still not clear if the slotback will play in the CFL West Division final against the Calgary Stampeders on Sunday.

Getzlaf was the Riders' receiving leader this year with 63 catches for 1,047 yards, but suffered a knee injury in the team's 29-25 loss to Calgary on Oct. 26 and hasn't played since.

Getzlaf practised with the team on Thursday in Regina.

Chamblin said there are still some things that he wants to see Getzlaf do and Friday's practice will be more of the telltale sign of his recovery.

Getzlaf told reporters afterward that he wouldn't say he's pain free, but added that he's okay.

He said he hopes to be able to play Sunday, but that will ultimately be Chamblin's decision.

"At the end of the day, if the coach ends up putting it on me, then I'm going to play. But I want to do what's right for the team and if they feel like it's not ready yet, then it's not ready yet," said Getzlaf.
