Adams Speedline Super S and LS clubs
Adams Golf has introduced the SUPER S and SUPER LS product lines for 2013.
The SUPER S lineup of driver, fairway woods, hybrids and irons is designed to be easy to hit to give golfers of all levels the performance they desire and marks the first time the manufacturer has launched an entire family of products under one name.
"The SUPER S family of clubs at its core, is designed with the idea of making golf more enjoyable," said Tim Reed, the vice-president of R&D for Adams Golf.
The SUPER S Driver will, for the first time ever, feature Velocity Slot Technology with a slot in the sole of the club for consistently longer drives as well as a revolutionary new design in adjustability. All SUPER S drivers will be standard, and will be adjustable from 9.5 degrees to 11.5 degrees of loft. This two degree range allows one driver to satisfy the needs of many golfers, and adapt to the changes of their game over time making it extremely easy to fit. Combined with the continued refinements in aerodynamic shaping, the SUPER S driver will be the most aerodynamic ever developed by Adams Golf, making it consistently longer and straighter. The Speedline SUPER S Driver will come standard with the Matrix Radix S shaft in both right and left handed models and will be available in late January.
The stainless steel construction of the SUPER S fairway woods means the new crown slot is thinner, deeper and longer from heel to toe, which allows golfers to easily get the ball in the air without negatively impacting performance. And the Cut-Thru sole slot makes the club extremely hot with a CT (Characteristic Time) of 230. The SUPER S fairway wood will come standard with the Matrix HD Radix 65 and will be available in late January.
The SUPER S Hybrids feature a Cut-Thru sole slot to increase ball speeds for greater distance. The refined crown slot is thinner, deeper and longer, helping to get the ball in the air easier from any lie. The ease of hitting high and straight shots makes going for the green an easy decision on those long par-4's and par-5's, and makes those long par-3's your new favorite holes. The Idea SUPER S Hybrid will feature the Matrix Kujoh shaft and will be available in late January.
The Idea SUPER S Irons blend the best of hybrids and irons without sacrificing the look or feel with better stability at impact for less clubhead rotation during impact. Featuring a thinner face for increased ball speed, the irons feature a half hollow construction to make it perform like a hybrid, while still having the look and feel of an iron, giving golfers the best of both worlds. The steel irons will feature the KBS Tour 90, while the graphite irons will feature Mitsubishi Rayon Kuro Kage Black 80 iron shaft. They will be will be available at the end of January.

The new sole slot in the SUPER LS Hybrid gives it an extremely hot face for higher ball speeds. The new crown slot improves deflection across the entire clubface to increase launch angle without creating additional spin. This generally creates more carry distance and makes it easier to hit greens from further away than every before. The multi-material design of the SUPER LS Hybrid creates an exceptionally low Center of Gravity (CG) for greater all-around performance. The titanium face and crown, combined with the stainless steel sole, and the VST incorporated in both the crown and sole creates the hottest Adams Hybrid ever.
"This hybrid will more than replace the hybrids currently in the bag," said Reed. "It will have golfers questioning if they need a fairway wood."
The SUPER LS Fairway Wood has all of the bells and whistles. A a new sole slot featuring Cut-Thru technology and a refined crown slot, and the titanium face and crown combined with a stainless steel sole which creates an exceptionally low center of gravity for greater all-around performance. As well, Adams' Fast Fit technology, which allows for extensive customization, enables golfers to change loft/face angle, length and swing weight for maximum performance.
The SUPER LS Driver features a slot in the sole of the club that is deeper in the heel and toe to increase the sweet spot across the face. This expansion of the sweet spot provides golfers with consistently higher ball speeds for consistently longer drives. The driver also features Adams' Fast Fit fitting system, which gives golfers the ability to adjust face angle, length and swing weight to fine tune the club to provide maximum performance for their individual game.
The entire line features a matte white crown, which makes the apparent size of the clubhead larger for added confidence at address and combined with a contrasting PVD face makes the clubs easy to align. All of the clubs will be available in late January.
