Nike Golf's ONE RZN golf ball is the latest addition to the RZN family, incorporating groundbreaking technology into a golf ball to create revolutionary distance for amateurs.
RZN, a highly neutralized polymer, replaces conventional rubber cores. ONE RZN features the same larger, softer RZN core found in the new Nike 20XI tour ball, but with a slightly different formulation to create an even faster engine to produce longer distance and more controlled shots for this new generation of golf balls.
"With ONE RZN, we are able to bring revolutionary advances in golf balls to a wider range of athletes," said Rock Ishii, Nike Golf's Product Development Director for golf balls. "There's not a product out there in this category of golf ball that has technology of this magnitude."
Nike's premium 20XI golf ball also comes in for an update with more RZN material added to the core and mantle creating an even faster engine for ultimate tour performance. The added RZN mantel produces longer shots off irons while providing a softer short game feel. This combination of core size and mantle translates into two times more RZN material than the previous generation 20XI.
"Not only did we increase speed with 20XI, but we added softness for improved feel around the greens, creating a balanced tour model golf ball," said Ishii.
ONE RZN comes in two versions, ONE RZN and ONE RZN X, with a suggested retail price of CDN$35. The 20XI also comes in two versions, the 20XI and the 20XI X, with a suggested retail price of CDN$50. Both models will be available starting in February 2013.
