Posting your golf scores just got easier.
In addition to posting scores online at http://www.golfcanada.ca/and at your member clubs kiosk, Golf Canada members can now post scores quickly and conveniently from their mobile devices.
Golf Canada’s new Score Centre Mobile App, developed by Golf Canada in partnership with GolfNet, provides more than 340,000 members at 1,500 member clubs nationwide with the option to post and track their scores on the go.
“The mobile app was an essential addition to the way Golf Canada members can conveniently track their scores,” said Karen Hewson, Managing Director of Membership and Heritage Services. “We wanted make posting scores as easy as possible for our members who are dedicated Smartphone users.”
The new app is a unique member-only privilege which includes all of Golf Canada’s member clubs in our directory. If members aren’t playing at their local club, courses are easily searchable and can be located by GPS on the fly. It also allows members to immediately access their Golf Canada Handicap Factor – anytime, anywhere.
Over seven million scores were posted across the country last season and with the new app members can continue post scores from their online profiles or from the kiosk at their local club. The SCAN-dicap feature on all Golf Canada membership cards will also continue to allow users to access their handicap factors from any smartphone with a barcode scanner. It can also be used to download Golf Canada’s app on a compatible mobile device.
Golf Canada’s Score Centre Mobile App is currently available on iOS and Android platforms and can be downloaded directly from Apple’s App Store or Android’s Google play. You can also download the app by visiting www.golfcanada.ca/mobile on your mobile device.
