Cam Burke has all but assured himself of moving on to the next stage after carding a third round 70. That leaves the two-time Canadian amateur champion from New Hamburg, Ont. tied for second with one round to go.
Derek Gillespie of Oshawa, Ont. is tied for 11th after a round of 71, and barring a final round disaster, looks like he'll be going through to the second stage as well.
Michael Gligic (27th) of Burlington, Ont., is two shots below the cut line while Riley Wheeldon (T28th) of Comox, B.C. and Brad Revell (T28th) are just three off the qualification line with one round to play.
Danny Sahl (T47th) of Sherwood Park, Alta., needs to make up seven strokes while Greg McAuley (T65th) of Cloverdale, B.C., Christopher Ross (T65th) of Dundas, Ont., and Ryan Kings (T73rd) of Kitchener, Ont. are too far back at this point.

Mike Mezei of Lethbridge, Alta. slipped into a tie for eighth but looks good to advance to the next stage.
Andrew Parr of London, Ont., had his worst round of the week, 76, to drop him into a tie for 26th. He needs to make up two strokes in the final round in order to advance.
David Morland IV of Aurora, Ont., is tied for 30th after a round of 73 which leaves him three strokes outside the cut line.
Billy Walsh of Concord, Ont., is 64th after a round of 74.
Grasslands Golf & Country Club - Lakeland, FL (top 22 qualify for next stage)
Marc Bussieres of Gatineau, Que., slipped down into a tie for 47th and is seven strokes off the cut line needed to make the next stage.
The Auburn University Club - Auburn, AL (top 19 qualify for next stage)
Stuart Anderson of Sooke, B.C., improved from his opening round 74 with a second round 69 to vault up into a tie for 8th thanks to seven birdies. He's currently two strokes above the cut line with two rounds still to be played.
