Ailing forward Michael Cammalleri took part in the Montreal Canadiens' optional skate but will not play Wednesday night against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
It will be a second straight game Cammalleri has missed with flu-like symptoms.
Head coach Jacques Martin said he expects Cammalleri to play this weekend.
