Can the NHL all-star game be saved? Add to ...

Globe hockey writers David Shoalts, James Mirtle and Eric Duhatschek join host Darren Yourk this week to discuss the NHL dramatically revamping the all-star game format and the recent struggle of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The group also picks through some leftovers from the GM meetings in Toronto, including the quick dismissal of Florida Panthers GM Dale Tallon's proposal for a coach's challenge to one official's decision per game, the effectiveness of the new rule against blindside hits to the head and Ken Holland's overtime proposal.

There's also talk about Twitter use by NHL personalities and what kind of policy the league should have on social networking.
