There is some speculation that Malkin and Crosby might play more on the same line, rather than just during rare power plays “Both players play well," says Washington's Ovechkin, "and it's going to be a big challenge for us when they play together.”

But Ovechkin adds that it doesn't really matter where Malkin plays,  "You can't forget about him."
