A couple of farmhands for the Pittsburgh Penguins are in hot water after a streaking incident in downtown Scranton, Pa.

Nathan Smith, 26, the captain of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League, was charged with indecent exposure, according to The Canadian Press, when a police officer saw him running naked down a street early Sunday morning.

Also arrested was teammates Ryan Stone, 23, who was charged with public drunkenness. Smith also faces charges of open lewdness, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Both players are Alberta natives, as Smith is from Strathcona and Stone is from Calgary.

The Penguins' farm team is preparing to play in the second round of the AHL playoffs. The team said disciplinary action will be taken against the players.

Smith apologized for his actions in a statement issued by the team.

“I would like to apologize to the people of Northeast Pennsylvania, my teammates, and to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Pittsburgh Penguins organizations,” he said. “I made an embarrassing and regrettable decision this weekend and understand I will face disciplinary action. My conduct was unacceptable and totally out of character - it will not happen again. I promise to do my best to win back your trust and support.”
