Two housekeeping items not revealed in the Toronto Maple Leafs press conference to fire head coach Paul Maurice were that Mike Penny will leave his assistant general manager portfolio and become the Leafs western pro scout based in Vancouver. Goaltending consultant Steve McKichan also has left the organization.
