Naylor: Murray unhappy with arrangements Add to ...

The game-day skate is a ritual practised by every NHL team.   However, it hasn't been available to the Ottawa Senators during their games in Anaheim.   NHL rules state that the home team must get ice time first.   But with the Ducks practising at 9:30 am and a 5:00 p.m. face-off for Stanley Cup final games in Anaheim, Ottawa head coach Bryan Murray says there's not  enough time for his players to practise, get back for a rest and then return to the rink mid-afternoon to prepare for the game.   "They're not being very accomodating to us," said Murray. "We'll play shinny (early in the morning) with the refs if they'd let us."
