The Canucks are on the ice at the Scottrade Center right now, but they hardly resemble the team that leads St. Louis three games to none in their best-of-seven Western Conference quarter-final.

Nine Canucks have opted to skip this practice.

The list of no-shows runs from the surprising - Roberto Luongo, who almost never misses a chance to skate - to the understandable - Mats Sundin, who missed Game 3 with what is believed to be a hip injury.

Also missing are the Sedin twins, Willie Mitchell, Sami Salo, Ryan Kesler, Pavol Demitra and Kyle Wellwood.

Perhaps this is an indication of just how physical this series has been. Or perhaps it's a comment on just how well the Canucks are playing. After all, there is little to improve on after three nearly-perfect games.
