Jets’ top line produces again in win over Coyotes Add to ...

Nikolaj Ehlers, Blake Wheeler and Andrew Copp scored goals and the Winnipeg Jets beat the Arizona Coyotes 3-2 on Thursday night.

The Jets won for the third time in four games and have earned at least a point in four of five.

Winnipeg goalie Connor Hellebuyck, making his fourth straight start, made 23 saves, offsetting the Coyotes’ Louis Domingue’s 24.

The Jets’ top line of Ehlers, rookie Patrik Laine and centre Mark Scheifele combined for three points.

Ehlers sealed the win at the 16:46 mark of the third period when he put in a deflected clearance attempt from the Coyotes’ Oliver Ekman-Larsson. Tobias Rieder scored for Arizona with 1.2 seconds to play, but the Coyotes ran out of time.
