Leaf links: End of the road Add to ...

As expected, the Maple Leafs were officially eliminated from playoff contention last night, marking a sixth straight spring in Toronto without playoff hockey (insert your favourite Leafs on the golf course joke here).

Nobody comes to this space for anything I have to say, so let's get right to a monster set of links on the Leafs from the pros:

Mirtle on last night's loss and the players' thoughts on missing the postseason.

David Shoalts likes what Grabovski and Lupul have brought to the Maple Leafs attack.

Also from Shoalts: Rogers not all that interested in making a bid for the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan's majority share of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment Ltd.

Stephen Brunt writes about the Blue Jays and Toronto's longing for a winner, so the hockey club gets a mention.

National Post columnist Bruce Arthur says the Leafs' late run matters.

Post reporter Michael Traikos puts things in perspective at the top of his story on last night's game.

Toronto Star columnist Damien Cox has a message for Brian Burke: Now it's time to win.

Toronto Sun reporter Lance Hornby's 10 concerns for the Leafs going forward.

Sun columnist Steve Buffery on prospect Greg McKegg.

A good look at the season of Nikolai Kulemin, courtesy The Leafs Nation.

AM640's Jonas Siegel talks to Nazem Kadri about round two of his NHL career.

Jon at Puckin' Eh takes a look back at his preseason predictions.

Down Goes Brown on other teams that failed to make the postseason.
