Is there such thing as a good loss? If you believe such a thing exists, the Leaf's 5-4 defeat at the hands of the Washington Capitals last night surely would qualify.

The team rallied from a 3-1 deficit in the third, shaking its recent scoring malaise with a three-goal burst in a span of 3:03. The Monster made a couple of huge saves, Tyler Bozak found his way on to the scoresheet and Kris Versteeg even managed to bury a glorious scoring opportunity.

We'll see if any of that carries over to Saturday's game against the struggling Buffalo Sabres.
