The Toronto Maple Leafs have added another college free agent to their roster.

The NHL team announced Monday that it had signed forward Brayden Irwin to a two-year contract.

The 23-year-old Toronto native will stay with the team for the remainder of the season.

Irwin recently completed his fourth season with the University of Vermont Catamounts, leading the team with 15 goals and 34 points.

The Leafs currently have two former college free agents in their lineup - forwards Tyler Bozak and Christian Hanson were each signed last spring.
