The NHL announced that the Stanley Cup final will open with Game 1 on Wednesday, June 3 in either New York, Tampa or Anaheim.

Game 1 will be at Madison Square Garden if the Rangers beat the Lightning in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference final Friday night.

If the Lightning win, they'll have home-ice advantage in the Cup final if the Blackhawks beat the Ducks in Game 7 of the West final.

If the Ducks and Lightning win, Anaheim has home ice.

Game 2 is Saturday, June 6, Game 3 is Monday, June 8 and Game 4 is Wednesday, June 10.

If necessary, Game 5 is Saturday, June 13, Game 6 is Monday, June 15 and Game 7 is Wednesday, June 17.

All games will begin at 8 p.m. ET.

This is the first time since 2000 and just the third time in NHL history that the two conference finals went seven games.
