The Nashville Predators announced Monday that they claimed forward Bobby Butler on waivers from the New Jersey Devils.

Butler is on a two-way contract worth $525,000 at the NHL level and $105,000 by the AHL.

Butler, 25, had a goal and an assist in 14 games with the Devils last season after starting with their AHL affiliate in Albany, where he had 16 goals and 11 assists in 37 games.

In 108 NHL games combined with the Ottawa Senators and Devils, he has 17 goals and 22 assists since 2010.
