The Nashville Predators have waived forward Derek Roy and assigned forward Viktor Stalberg to the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals.

The Predators announced the moves Sunday.

Roy signed a one-year deal with Nashville this off-season, and he had 10 points in 26 games, ranking him ninth in scoring.

Stalberg has appeared in only five games for Nashville after being hurt in training camp and injuring a knee while on conditioning assignment in Milwaukee.
