Rogers has announced its 45-person team for Sportsnet's NHL coverage in the network's first season with exclusive Canadian national television rights.

Many of the new additions come from CBC, including analysts Glenn Healy, Kelly Hrudey, Craig Simpson, P.J. Stock and Gary Galley and reporter Cassie Campbell-Pascall.

Mike Johnson, formerly of NHL Network, and Darren Pang, who has worked for the St. Louis Blues and TSN, join as analysts, while Leah Hextall comes to Sportsnet from NESN in Boston as a reporter.

"Canadian hockey fans deserve a broadcast team that is just as passionate about the game as they are," Rogers senior vice president of NHL production Gord Cutler said in a statement. "It was important that we assemble a crew of experienced, knowledgeable, entertaining and accomplished broadcasters with diverse backgrounds and experience, to create a fresh, new viewing experience that will resonate with fans of all ages."

Rogers also announced Rick Ball would do play-by-play on Calgary Flames broadcasts and Drew Remenda would do analysis on Edmonton Oilers broadcasts.
