Ville Leino put the finishing touch to a comprehensive 8-3 exhibition win for the Buffalo Sabres over Adler Mannheim on Tuesday.

Tyler Ennis scored twice and Luke Adam added another on a power play to fire Buffalo 3-0 ahead in the first period.

Yannic Seidenberg and Jaime Sifers replied for Mannheim — the German league leader — in the second period, when Brad Boyes, Christian Ehrhoff and Thomas Vanek all scored for Buffalo.

Although Mike Glumac pulled one back, Mannheim looked tired from its third game in five days, and the Sabres ruthlessly took full advantage.

Jason Pominville added another goal before Leino completed the rout.

The Sabres' regular season begins Friday against the Anaheim Ducks in Helsinki.
