Canadian Aleksandra Wozniak has advanced to the final of the $200,000 (U.S.) Odlum Brown Van Open after a straight sets victory over American Irina Falconi on Saturday.
The native of Blainville, Que., defeated the third-seeded American 6-4, 6-4 to book a date Sunday with Jamie Hampton of the U.S.
Hampton ousted Eleni Daniilidou of Greece 6-2, 7-5 in the other semi.
Hampton was also set to play in the women's doubles final Saturday night with Thai partner Noppawan Lertcheewakarn.
On the men's side, Vasek Pospisil of Vernon, B.C., was to take on Britain's James Ward in the men's singles semifinal.
The winner will meet American Robby Ginepri who won a walkover victory against No. 2-seed countryman Bobby Reynolds.
Reynolds also pulled out of the men's doubles semi, giving Treat Conrad Huey of the Philippines and American Travis Parrott the victory.
The duo will meet David Martin of the U.S. and Australia's Jordan Kerr in the final.
Reynolds' doubles partner was Pospisil.
