Canadian snowboarders Mark McMorris and Spencer O'Brien earned victories at the O'Neill Evolution big air event Saturday.

The Regina native won the men's title with 95.60 points, finishing just ahead of American Eric Willett (95.30). Seppe Smits of Belgium was third (90.48).

O'Brien, a native of Whistler, B.C., took the women's crown with 93.45 points. Sina Candrian of Switzerland was well back in second place (87.30) and Anna Gasser of Austria was third (74.30).
