Dan Aykroyd ready to oversee Indy Add to ...

Actor and comedian Dan Aykroyd will serve as the grand marshal at the Honda Indy Toronto on Sunday.

He will give the famous command, 'Drivers start your engines!' before the start of the IndyCar Series race. The Ottawa native will also meet the race winner in victory circle for the celebration.

Aykroyd was an original cast member on "Saturday Night Live," and has appeared in several films including "The Blues Brothers" and "Ghostbusters."

He is a member of the Order of Canada and has also been inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame for his contributions to the entertainment industry.
