Jo-Wilfried Tsonga withdraws from Rogers Cup Add to ...

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France has withdrawn from the Rogers Cup tennis tournament due to a knee injury.

The eighth-ranked Tsonga hasn’t played since June 26 when he was forced to drop out of his second-round match at Wimbledon.

He says he needs more rehab on his left knee and hopes to be ready for the U.S. Open next month.
