Disgruntled UFC veteran Quinton (Rampage) Jackson will face Mauricio (Shogun) Rua in a rematch of former light-heavyweight champions.
The fight is expected to be the 33-year-old Jackson's last in the UFC. He has just one fight remaining on his contract and has made no secret recently that he is upset with the organization.
There is no time or venue set for the matchup yet.
Jackson (32-9) is coming off a decision loss in Japan to Ryan (Darth) Bader last month. He missed making weight prior to the bout, blaming it later on an injury during training camp.
On Twitter, Jackson subsequently complained that he has fought hurt almost every fight recently but instead of the UFC thanking him for not pulling out, they had criticized his performance.
And while he has complained in the past about his contract, he said money was not a factor in his leaving.
“I'm not complaining about money, cause I'm about 2 make a lot less money now, but at least the people I fight 4 will appreciate what I do4mma,” he tweeted.
“Talk all ya want my life is great win or lose ufc or not,” he added.
Rua (20-6) knocked out Jackson when they met in Pride in 2005.
The 30-year-old Brazilian lost to Dan Henderson in an epic brawl last time out at UFC 139.Report Typo/Error
