Canadian water-skier Whitney McClintock picked up three medals Thursday in women's water-skiing at the Pan Am Games.

McClintock took gold in the slalom event, silver in the tricks final and silver in the jump final.

McClintock's gold was the 65th at these Games for Canada, setting a new national Pan Am record. The previous record of 64 gold medals was set in Winnipeg in 1999.

A day earlier, McClintock won gold in the overall competition.

McClintock's brother, Jason McClintock, win silver in the men's slalom and he just missed the podium in the tricks competition in the afternoon.

Teammate Jaret Llewellyn did get the silver in the tricks event and just missed the podium in the jumps final.

Ryan Dodd won the gold medal in the jump event to cap off a six medal day for Canada on the water.
