The U.S.'s "flying squirrel" has a new, highly coveted title: Olympic all-around champion. On Thursday, August 2, Gabrielle Douglas won the gold medal in the women's individual all-around gymnastics final, just two days after she and her teammates captured their first team title since 1996. Russia's Victoria Komova took the silver medal, and her teammate Aliya Mustafina finished third.
