Ryan Pore and Eduardo Sebrango each scored to help the Montreal Impact shut out the Minnesota Stars 2-0 in North American Soccer League play Saturday.

Pore scored in the 45th minute with a low shot past Stars goalkeeper Joe Warren for his first career goal with the Impact (5-10-7).

Sebrango added the insurance goal in the 83rd minute after collecting a pass from Mignane Diouf to score his sixth of the season into an open net.

Impact goalkeeper Evan Bush recorded his fifth shutout of the season after facing eight shots by Minnesota (7-7-8).

"We have been playing well over the last few games, especially on defence, but the offence is also doing well and it has been fun scoring goals," said Pore.

"We still have a long way to go to reach the playoffs, and we will do everything we can to make it."

Montreal head coach Nick De Santis managed his 138th career regular season game to surpass Valerio Gazzola as the all-time leader in team history.

The game also marked the debut of Colombian forward Miguel Montano, who joined the Impact on loan from the MLS's Seattle Sounders on Monday.
