Cobb, Floyd and Stala all honoured for performances in Hamilton's win over Roughriders

Hamilton Tiger-Cats DeAndra' Cobb, Otis Floyd and Dave Stala all received CFL weekly award Tuesday for their play in a 24-6 win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Cobb was a unanimous selection as offensive player of the week after rushing for 159 yards and a TD against Saskatchewan. He also surpassed the 1,000-yard rushing plateau, boosting his season total to 1,140 yards.

It's the third time this season Cobb has received the award.

Floyd captured defensive player honours after registering four tackles and two sacks against Saskatchewan. Overall, the Ticats defence had six sacks and four turnovers in the game.

Also considered for the award was B.C. Lions linebacker Anton McKenzie.

Stala was a unanimous pick as top Canadian after having nine catches for 126 yards. It's the second time this season he has received the award.

Larry Taylor of the Montreal Alouettes was unanimously selected for the special-teams award. He returned a missed field goal 115 yards for a touchdown in a 48-13 win over Winnipeg. Overall, he finished with 73 yards on punt returns and 147 yards on kickoff returns.

This marks the third time Taylor has captured the honour.
