Another young Canadian has become an overnight YouTube sensation.
This time it's a five-and-a-half-month-old London, Ont., baby boy named Emerson, who has charmed the world while racking up more than four million views in just a few days.
In the video, titled "Emerson - Mommy's Nose is Scary!", the baby is seen alternating between horrified shock and uncontrollable laughter when his mom blows her nose.
The clip quickly rocketed up YouTube's charts in Canada and internationally.
It's been linked on some of the web's most prominent viral video websites and that of "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest.
And now the big American talk shows are calling too.
"Both the 'Today Show' and 'Good Morning America' have been very persistent," said Emerson's grandfather, Dave Helwig, who first linked to the video off Sootoday.com, where he works.
"'Good Morning America' in particular was prepared to go to tremendous lengths, they were prepared to fly them to New York, put them up there for a couple nights at their expense and go through the trouble of working through an expedited passport application."
Helweg said the family has been inundated with messages from viewers around the world.
"People just love the fact that for a minute their attention was turned from all the tragedy in the world to the innocence of a giggling little child."
