Cisco's invents 'Geek Dad' demographic, tries to pump up 'cool' factor Add to ...

The survey that generated the numbers for this infographic has a tiny sample size (590 Americans) and a spurious premise (Geek Dads are basically the same whether they are 25 or 54?), but it still has some "hmmm, I know folks like that" moments in it. But "70 per cent of geek dads say their kids think they're cool," and "72 per cent of geek dads are more excited to teach their kids how to use tech tools than traditional tools, like a hammer or drill"? Maybe a better description is "Dork Dads."
