Swiss scientists believe their space-borne debris collector, CleanSpace One will be operational by 2016, pioneering a new method of space junk removal. Its first target will be the decommissioned Swiss Cube satellite, launched in 2009 and one of thousands of discarded remnants, now orbiting the Earth.
