A team affiliated with the University of Toronto is close to flying their human-powered helicopter, Atlas, into the history books. The goal of AeroVelo is keep Atlas aloft for a minute, and hit an altitude of three metres in order to win the $250,000 Sikorsky Prize. The project is in the final stages of testing and development after more than a year of work
