Canadian Political Polls

Thumbnail for Canadian Political Polls page.

Polls are a snapshot of public opinion that can easily change, so it is generally better to consider a large number of polls than any one individual poll. Results can be affected by the number of respondents who took it, the margin of error (which can arise from statistical or sampling errors) and the method of polling. Different polling firms may use live calling, interactive voice response (so-called "robo-calls"), or large panels of respondents that answer questions on the Internet.

This page collects stories about political polls, including the latest numbers for Prime Minister Stephen Harper, NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair and Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau.
