The Canadian bond market is continuing its maddening tendency to follow right along with U.S. yields, even though our economic environment is far different from that of our southern neighbors. Dealing with higher interest rates in the midst of intensifying concerns about the domestic economy is a big enough problem in itself, but the trend is also causing a sell-off in the crowded high-yield bond market.
