Yum Brands soothes emerging market nerves

Yum Brands Inc. has something to say about the fears swirling over emerging market economies: Calm down.

The fast-food company, which owns KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut brands, now gets more than half of its annual revenue from China, making it an ideal investment for anyone who wants to combine emerging market exposure with developed-market accounting standards and management.
