What new laws the B.C. government will push this year

As B.C. Premier Christy Clark puts the finishing touches on the Speech from the Throne to be delivered in Victoria next week, it’s a sure bet that there will be two words sprinkled liberally throughout it: jobs and the economy.

If Premier Clark has one thing in common with Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper it’s her almost singular focus on the economy. The theme of her legislative agenda is Strong Economy, Secure Tomorrow; it’s one that could easily be Mr. Harper’s too.
