Former prime minister joins medical marijuana operation

John Turner is an unlikely advocate for medical marijuana.

The former Liberal prime minister doesn’t smoke pot – says he never has and likely never will. He would advise his grown children to avoid its recreational use. And he is not supportive of the crowd that congregates on Parliament Hill every April 20 to demand legalization.
