Scotiabank promotes new chief risk officer

After posting solid third quarter earnings on Tuesday, Bank of Nova Scotia is making some management team changes.

Rob Pitfield is retiring from the position of chief risk officer after 30 years with the bank. He’ll stay on until the end of the year.

Mr. Pitfield had done a tour of many senior roles in different parts of Scotiabank’s business from Canadian personal and commercial, to being group head of both wealth management and international banking.
