CIBC adds global infrastructure heavyweights

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce is building out its focus on global infrastructure finance, adding two new managing directors to focus on growing the business in the U.S. and abroad.

David Tweedy will join the bank’s New York office on January 14, according to a memo circulated Monday morning. He will focus on building CIBC’s business in the U.S. with infrastructure construction companies, project developers, equity sponsors and institutional investors, the note said.
