Detour Gold dogged by cash concerns

Even with a better outlook for bullion, Detour Gold is still in for a tough slog.

After a wild final quarter of the calendar year, during which the miner’s chief executive officer exited and the company’s shares tumbled 53 per cent, Detour looks to be on the mend. The gold price is nudging higher and so far this year the miner has recovered more than half of what its shares lost in those rough three months.
