CIBC loses senior investment banker

The co-head of diversified and technology investment banking at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce has resigned.

Michael Cochrane is leaving after three years at the bank, at which his most recent role was overseeing diversified industries and technology, media and telecom (TMT) investment banking. Mr. Cochrane, who is at the relatively senior level of managing director, is not heading to another job in the investment banking business.
