Hal Kvisle took the mic as Talisman Energy Inc.’s chief executive for the first time Tuesday, and distanced himself from many of his predecessor’s plans. After unveiling a loss of $731-million in the third-quarter and chopping Talisman’s budget to $3-billion – a 25 per cent drop – he directly answered questions, which meant slamming some of the company’s assets.
