Talisman loses VP to TAQA North

Talisman Energy Inc., the oil and gas company which abruptly parted ways with its chief executive last week, lost a senior vice president to a competitor Tuesday.

TAQA North Ltd., Abu Dhabi National Energy Co.’s Canadian division, tapped Edward LaFehr to take over as its president. Mr. LaFehr is currently a senior vice-president at Talisman. (His LinkedIn profile says he leads Talisman’s conventional energy business in North America, and joined the Calgary-based company less than a year ago).
