Interest Based Advertising
The Globe and Mail collects information about your online interactions with The Globe and Mail, the device you use to interact with us, the general location of your device (i.e. city/region) and general demographic data to deliver tailored advertising. Advertising may also be tailored using data from our ad partners about your interactions with third-party websites or apps (“interest-based advertising”).
You can opt-out of receiving interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada’s Adchoices opt-out tool.
