Celebrity photographer George Pimentel.

Just in time for the Toronto International Film Festival (Sept. 8 to 18), a selection of never-seen-before celebrity photos by red-carpet ninja George Pimentel will be exhibited at the Davies Condominiums Presentation Centre. We asked the say-cheese superstar what he's been focusing on lately.

What he's watching: "Ever since I met the lead actor Boyd Holbrook at the Sundance Film Festival, I have been obsessed with his Netflix series, Narcos. There's something refreshing about meeting an up-and-coming actor who is so down to earth. He was so cool that he gave me his own ticket to get into his own screening, not realizing that he later needed that same ticket to get in himself. I ended up giving it back to him, but he made sure I got in. Can't wait until the second season begins airing on Sept. 2."

What he recently enjoyed: "Last week, I had the privilege of being assigned to photograph Barbra Streisand's concert in Toronto. I have to admit, I did not grow up listening to her. I think she was before my time. When she came out and performed Memory as the first song, I was blown away with her crystal clear voice. It was beautiful to listen to."

What he's listening to: "To be honest, all summer, I've been absorbed in my son's baseball team. I took on the role of driving four teenage boys everywhere and I had them take over my playlist in my car. I was shocked to hear some of the rap lyrics, but I have to admit the music really grew on me. Now hip-hop songs such as Low Life by Future (featuring The Weeknd) and tunes by Post Malone (Go Flex and White Iverson) are top on my playlist."

A selection of George Pimentel photos will be presented until Sept. 18 at the Davies Condominiums Presentation Centre, 281 Avenue Rd.
