Sorry about yesterday’s gallery. Many readers did not see the humour in calling Benedict Cumberbatch “ugly” and “hideous,” and interpreted it as a personal attack. It was a joke befitting the normal tone (and quality) of this satirical feature. Benedict Cumberbatch is, in fact and quite obviously, a hunky movie star beloved by millions and admired for the intensity of his performances on screen and on stage.
