A scene from "Love Is All You Need"

Pierce Brosnan and Trine Dyrholm make lemonade, as they say, in this unabashedly romantic comedy with a twist from the director-writer team behind the Oscar-winning (and much heavier) In A Better World. A widowed, all-work-no-play produce exporter (Brosnan), and a hairdresser (Dyrholm) who has just finished chemotherapy and whose husband is cheating, literally collide en route to the wedding of his son and her daughter. As family and friends gather at the father-of-the-groom's long-vacant Sorrento villa, the young couple gets cold feet while their parents warm up. Bier favourite Paprika Steen takes awkward moments to a whole new level as Brosnan's sister-in-law – the honesty of her delightfully inappropriate speechifying becoming a catalyst for others to confront deep truths. Breathtaking visuals (sea cliffs, lemon groves) and heartfelt performances enliven what is otherwise a highly predictable story.
